Larsen Plaster-Weld Interior Plaster Bonding Agent
-  Gallon

We often encounter crumbling walls that aren’t ready for paint or plaster in our line of work. The walls in question are usually old but may be new construction that was torn up to change some electrical wiring. It’s because we’ve learned that painters endure so much sloppy building prep work that we’ve come to depend on Plaster Weld for plaster repair.

Plaster-Weld liquid lath bonds wet plaster or cement to any structurally sound surface. Sound surfaces include ceilings, walls, columns, beams made from concrete, brick, block, glass, ceramic tile, wallboard, metal and marble. You can apply Plaster Weld to many types of painted surfaces, including oil-, rubber-, vinyl-, and other water-based coatings.

The easy-to-use, modern resinous emulsion incorporates polyvinyl acetate homopolymer to create a re-emulsifiable film that locks wet plaster or cement to the base structure either immediately or a week to ten days later. Because the product is designed to reactivate, its adhesive quality is not limited by state of tack.

Plaster-Weld covers approximately 300-400 square feet per gallon, depending on method of application, temperatures, porosity and texture of the substrate. Plaster-Weld is non-toxic and is low in VOCs.
